Ben West is committed to fostering the next generation of musical theatre artists though lectures and workshops built upon our principal of “History in Practice.” Offering a practical, functional, active application of musical theatre history, his programs are uniquely designed to expand the vocabulary and skill set of young artists through direct engagement in the exploration of the form’s history.

West has lectured and spoken at several institutions including the Library of Congress, Yale University, The New York Public Library, University of Michigan, and Boston Conservatory at Berklee. He has also presented at the Association for Theatre in Higher Education.
